The Goalkeeper training at Sockers FC is one of the most crucial in the game. The Goalkeeper must perform the most dynamic movements of any player with the most risk.
I.- Specific goalkeeper instruction sessions (preparation, distribution, shot stopping and crosses).
II.- Intra team training (working with defenders, positioning, set pieces etc).
III.- U7-11 gain valuable exposure to the goalkeeping without any pressure to commit to the position.
IV.- U12+ minimum of two goalkeeping specific session per week available.
Advice to stimulate development and regular feedback from coaches.
V.- In game tuition.
VI.- Goalkeeping specific fitness sessions.
