We are proud to announce our annual President's Day College Showcase coming on February 16th. The Showcase is open to Sockers FC 2008-2010 uncommitted players. Players register for the Showcase and are placed on teams to play on February 16th. The Showcase hosts over 30 college coaches from around the region including Division I schools like UIC, Illinois State, Loyola, Northwestern, and others. Invitations go out to over 100 schools from across the college landscape.
Players are guaranteed a minimum of two games at Soccer City and all games are recorded, so players can produce highlights after the Showcase event. All players are also featured in a team by team profile book, receive a Showcase jersey, and professional coaching during their games. Goalkeepers will also have an opportunity to show their stuff in a GK clinic on the day of the event before the Showcase begins. All games will take place at Soccer City on Field 1 and Field 2.
All 2008-2010 players can register now through MySockers or scan the QR code below. The Showcase is open to all players, so if a non-Sockers player would like the participate, they can register through MySockers as well. The Showcase fee is $75 per player.
